FERONYL specializes in the manufacture of components and sub-assemblies in polymers, composites, multi-materials and injection molding. Established in Mouscron since 1950, it is recognized in the civil engineering, defense, aeronautics, medical, transport and industrial sectors.
Profile- Engineering degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering, plastics, or industrialization
- Minimum 3 years of experience in plastics, ideally in an injection environment
- Good command of 2D/3D technical drawing and CAD/CAM tools
- Solid understanding of injection tooling and manufacturing processes
- Experience or interest in continuous improvement (Lean, 5S)
- Analytical skills to identify the most relevant technical solutions
- Hands‑on mindset, proactive, with the ability to drive technical improvements
- Pedagogical profile capable of mentoring and developing technical teams
- Analyze technical issues related to production tooling (wear, defects, dimensional drifts)
- Define the best technical and economic compromise: repair, adjustment, modification, or manufacturing of a new part
- Design and modify 2D/3D technical drawings for tooling interventions and optimizations
- Prepare technical files for tooling interventions
- Provide technical and budget estimates for tooling modifications
- Implement and monitor modifications of molds and injection tooling optimizations
- Manage technical projects related to tooling interventions (laser welding, subcontracting, modifications)
- Contribute to R&D/Engineering projects during industrialization phases
- Manage and follow up on projects aimed at improving production performance
- Manage planning and interventions of the tooling team
- Coordinate with subcontractors (toolmakers, laser welding, machining)
- Order tools, spare parts, and technical consumables
- Lead Lean Manufacturing / 5S actions related to tooling and processes
- Support and coach teams to improve tooling optimization and maintenance
- Actively contribute to capitalizing and sharing technical best practices
- Human-sized team
