Estimation Engineer

Position

A production engineer working in the EDT department (Engineering, Design & Technology) supports both tender and execution stages of dredging & land reclamation projects.

• Analyze the most efficient methodology and suitable dredging equipment taking soil conditions, project requirements and vessel specifications into account.
• Determine expected production levels of equipment under given conditions or limitations.
• Advise on expected wear & tear of equipment.

• Transfer tender information into facts & figures for execution.
• Prepare project execution with vessel crew and project team, and formulate advice regarding methodology, required tools, and wear & tear topics.
• Support vessel and project team during start‑up and execution (onsite/on board and from Head Office).
• Analyze production limitations and advise on improvements.
• Collect data on execution methods and performance; analyze expected fuel consumption and impact on energy & emissions.
• Identify opportunities and risks.

• Degree in Industrial or Civil Engineering, preferably with specialization in Construction or (Electro-) Mechanics.
• Creative problem‑solving skills with ability to devise innovative solutions in a competitive contractor environment.
• Can work independently yet is a team player; believes in collaborative support.
• Willingness to travel abroad for short or long‑term assignments.
• Fluent in English;
  Dutch is a plus.
