As an R&D Engineer, you are responsible for developing, improving and testing innovative products and systems
. You translate market needs and technical requirements into concrete designs and prototypes
. You work closely with internal departments and external partners to deliver high‑quality technical solutions that meet Skellet Climate’s standards of excellence.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Designing, developing, and testing new concepts and systems.
- Collaborating with production, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure technical feasibility.
- Evaluating performance, reliability, and safety of designs.
- Carefully documenting your work and design choices.
- Supporting the transition from prototype to production or market launch.
You hold a degree in engineering (mechanical, electromechanical, or similar).
You have experience or strong interest in product development and innovation
.
You work methodically, think analytically, and enjoy solving complex challenges.
You are a strong communicator and a team player who collaborates easily across departments.
You are fluent in English and Dutch (other languages are an advantage).
