Je parkeert je wagen in een straat in Meise, in de ochtend. Je belt aan. Achter die deur woont je patiënt, een persoon met een verhaal, een gewoonte, een leven. En jij? Jij bent die vertrouwde verpleegkundige die binnenkomt met deskundige handen en een luisterend oor.
Als thuisverpleegkundige breng je zorg waar ze het meest telt: thuis.
Je verleent onder andere wondzorg, inspuitingen, technische handelingen en helpt bij de dagelijkse hygiënische zorgen. Maar je doet meer dan dat. Je stimuleert zelfzorg, volgt op vanaf zorgopstart, en staat in voor totaalzorg.
Je werkt zelfstandig, maar nooit alleen. Huisartsen, zorgpartners en je collega’s zijn altijd dichtbij.
