The successful candidate will be part of the Met2
Adapt consortium as a doctoral fellow, aiming at designing and testing novel mechanical and acoustic metamaterial designs. The project is funded directly by a prestigious MSCA grant. The successful candidate will have a high-scoring Masters degree in Mechanical, Civil, Materials, Simulation or similar Engineering field. This funding call is open to all EU and International applicants. The successful candidate will be offered acontract of 3 years as a doctoral researcher, along with a membership of KU Leuven, one of the largest, top-ranking research universities of Europe.
She/he will also be offered the possibility to take part in international conferences and collaborations and to become a multidisciplinary researcher.
