Senior Project Manager

Role Overview

As a Project Manager within our Project Management Department, you will be responsible for managing industrial construction projects from planning through execution. The role focuses on budget control, scheduling, and addressing technical challenges, while building strong working relationships with client teams and subcontractors. Availability to work on site at our locations in Wieze and/or Halle is mandatory.

• Collaborate with the project team to define project specifications and objectives.
• Support contract negotiations with external vendors and subcontractors.
• Assist in obtaining required permits and licenses from relevant authorities.
• Identify and plan required resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, from project start to completion while respecting budget constraints.
• Contribute to planning project operations and scheduling intermediate phases to ensure deadlines are achieved.
• Manage team members and assign responsibilities according to project needs.
• Lead the project team and manage interactions with clients and contractors.
• Monitor project progress and prepare detailed status and performance reports.
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety standards and report any issues.

• Proven experience as a construction Project Manager with a focus on industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
• Knowledge of the food industry, including manufacturing and packaging processes, layouts, and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with quality standards as well as health and safety regulations.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Excellent command of the English language,
  Dutch/Flemish is a must

• Experience with construction and project management software.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and effective time management skills.
• Team-oriented mindset with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• BSc or BA in Engineering, Building Science, or a related field.
• PMP or equivalent certification is considered an advantage.
• Willingness to travel and relocate for project purposes as required.
