Area Benelux & France is part of Maritime Region West Europe. The Area delivers Newbuilding (NB) services as well as Classification and Verification of Material and Components (CMC/VMC), in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Monaco, and Switzerland with its headquarters in Barendrecht. Fleet in Service (FiS) is organized in a separate service line across the Region.
We are seeking a Material and Components (CMC) Senior Surveyor to join our team and support customers across Belgium and France, reporting to the local Team Lead
Main responsibilities:
- Perform certification and verification of materials and components for marine and offshore applications within class and non-class related schemes
- Conduct assessments and audits of manufacturers according to applicable maritime certification schemes.
- Act as a technical contact point for assigned customers, working closely with internal stakeholders to manage customer relationships and deliver high-quality services.
- Support business development activities by identifying additional certification and verification opportunities in collaboration with DNV management.
- Participate in interdisciplinary verification projects and contribute to project-oriented technical work.
