As a Credit Controller, you are the guardian of our financial health and a partner to our customers. You combine a commercial mindset with a healthy dose of assertiveness and feel right at home in a digital environment where optimisation and accuracy are key.
You are a natural-minded problem solver: you take the initiative, contribute ideas for improvement, and do not shy away from difficult conversations. With your drive, you will elevate both our processes and our customer relationships.
- You actively follow up on outstanding invoices and take timely action to ensure payments are made.
- You maintain daily contact with customers and negotiate professionally on payment terms and outstanding receivables.
- You submit files to the credit insurance provider and carefully manage the entire follow-up process.
- You manage legal files and handle debt claims in cases of bankruptcy or legal proceedings.
- You formulate well-founded proposals for an efficient action plan for each customer account.
- You are familiar with concepts such as doubtful debtors, allocation of payments, and the correct processing of costs and discrepancies.
- You process various accounting documents in an accurate and structured manner.
- You regularly discuss key cases with management and actively contribute ideas for process optimisation.
- You are committed every day to supporting customers and colleagues with solutions that truly make a difference.
- You have relevant experience as a Credit Controller, which is a strong asset.
- You have a background in accounting and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
- You work accurately, in an organised and reliable manner, even when handling high volumes and tight deadlines.
- You take ownership and think in solutions: you see challenges as opportunities to improve processes and customer relationships.
- You are digitally savvy, quick to learn new tools, and actively contribute to more efficient workflows.
- You take initiative, manage your own portfolio independently, and at the same time are a true team player.
- You communicate with impact: assertive, respectful and professional, even in challenging situations.
- You have an excellent command of Dutch, French and English; additional languages are a plus.
- You preferably live within a reasonable commuting distance of our office in Oudenaarde.
