VAT Consult is an independent VAT advisory firm supporting Belgian and international clients with VAT compliance, advisory, and audit support.
Full time VAT Consultant role with a focus on VAT compliance and or VAT advisory. You will support clients with day to day VAT matters, advise on Belgian and cross border topics, and assist during VAT audits.
Responsibilities- VAT returns and VAT reporting
- VAT registrations, corrections, and follow up on client and authority queries
- VAT audits and questions from the VAT authorities
- VAT advice and VAT risk analysis
- Monitoring VAT developments and translating them into clear client guidance
Hybrid, flexible working arrangements available.
Qualifications- Experience in VAT compliance and or VAT advisory
- Strong knowledge of Belgian VAT and interest in international VAT
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Economics, Finance, Accountancy Fiscality, or similar
- Additional tax qualification is a plus
