** supporting our
** Finance, Accounting & Audit team**, you will be trusted to advance Alcon’s financial strategy and ensure fiscal responsibility across plant and manufacturing operations.  Based at our
** manufacturing site in Puurs**, you will play a key role in driving operational efficiency and financial  this role, a typical day will include:
* Collaborating with senior managers to set financial targets and track performance against KPIs.
* Preparing and consolidating financial reports for plant/manufacturing operations.
* Conducting variance analysis across sales, cost of goods sold, and working capital.
* Analyzing and monitoring inventory and cost trends to optimize financial outcomes.
* Supporting capital expenditure requests and assessing financial risks to guide investment decisions.
** WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON
*** Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in manufacturing finance, plant controlling, or cost accounting.
* Strong technical skills in financial reporting, variance analysis, and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
* Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
* Collaborative, pragmatic, and proactive approach to problem‑solving.
* Language knowledge: fluent in English and Dutch.
