Senior Consultant Actuary Life - Financial Services The Opportunity

Our market‑leading actuarial team is looking for experienced actuaries (Senior Consultant or Manager level) with life insurance experience to address the growing demand of insurance companies. Join our team and you will provide clients with traditional actuarial services – such as reserving, pricing and M&A support – and cutting‑edge services leveraging advanced statistical modeling techniques and technologies such as predictive analytics and machine learning.

• Design future‑proof life insurance products, including pricing strategies and methodologies
• Valuate life insurance liabilities using a wide range of actuarial software (e.g. Prophet, Python)
• Support risk management teams in comprehensive risk assessments and advise on risk matters such as risk appetite, ORSA, or climate risk stress‑testing
• Help insurance companies optimise their IFRS
  17 processes and enhance reporting to provide insights to investors and stakeholders
• Conduct detailed ALM studies and generate comprehensive reports on market and liquidity risk
• Develop and optimise capital models, including process, methodology and tooling (Solvency II)
• Fulfil the actuarial function for life insurance companies
• Provide support to the Transactions team on actuarial aspects during due‑diligences on life portfolios
• Create interactive dashboards for benchmarking or reporting purposes using PowerBI

• Master’s degree in actuarial sciences
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a life actuarial‑oriented position within an insurance company or consultancy firm
• Solid knowledge in at least two of: life product development and pricing, life reserving techniques, risk management, Solvency II, or IFRS 17
• Strong teamwork with a healthy sense of autonomy
• Excellent communication skills, fluency in Dutch and/or French and proficient business English
