This pivotal role supports a Leading European leasing company in strengthening its credit risk management framework, specifically focusing on IFRS 9 compliance. You will be instrumental in delivering accurate Expected Credit Loss (ECL) calculations and robust models, directly contributing to reliable provisioning and regulatory adherence in a dynamic financial landscape.
Tasks to Complete- Drive IFRS 9 credit risk management through precise ECL calculations and data quality assurance.
- Provide actionable insights to management by analyzing risk drivers and portfolio evolution.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain comprehensive IFRS 9 documentation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional departments on risk and compliance initiatives.
- Calculate and monitor Expected Credit Losses (ECL) across various portfolios.
- Manage IFRS 9 staging, including DPD monitoring and analysis of stage migrations.
- Develop, monitor, and validate risk parameters (PD, LGD, EAD) through model building, calibration, and backtesting.
- Analyze and explain provisioning movements, communicating impacts to management.
- Econometrics & Statistical Modeling
- Regulatory Compliance (NBB, ECB, FSMA)
- SAS (Statistical Analysis System)
