DepartmentThe Manufacturing Planning department is responsible for drilling down the company strategy into annual budgets. The yearly financial budget cycle and the budget follow-up are managed in collaboration with HR, Production, Procurement, R&D, corporate planning. The department also works on strategic projects and ensures compliance on production related topics.
Your roleAs part of the Manufacturing Planning Department you are responsible for the monthly follow-up of the annual budget and production process.
- Prepare and calculate the P&L based on the production plan, considering material cost, labour cost, energy cost, expenses, investments, supply cost and other elements.
- Perform activities during the monthly closing process and analyse plan data versus results.
- Monitor stock levels, assess stock requirements & defective stocks to reduce working capital cost.
During new product developments you will be involved in cost calculation and monitoring the profitability of new product launches. In the long run, you will participate in strategic projects, examining the financial feasibility of innovation proposals and changes in process flows. You will follow up and report on compliance matters such as quarterly financial audit and legislation related to F-gases.
As part of the digitisation of financial processes you will help introduce PowerBI reporting in the organisation.
Your profile- Master degree within Economics (e.g., Business Engineering, Business Economics, TEW).
- Up to 5 years of experience as business analyst or controller, or in an analytical position in a production environment.
- Strong interest in working within a production environment.
- Accurate, detail-oriented with a helicopter view and good communication skills.
- Team player, able to work independently.
- Result-driven with a strong focus on improvements.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Knowledge of SAP and Power BI is an asset.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
