At Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ghent, we believe that a great guest experience starts long before arrival. From the first booking request to the warm welcome at check-in, you play an essential role in creating a smooth and memorable stay.

As our new Reservations & Guest Service Executive, you are the connecting point between our guests, our Front Office team, and our commercial departments. You combine administrative accuracy with genuine hospitality and ensure every guest receives the right information at the right time.

You’ll have a diverse role combining reservations, guest communication, and operational support:

• Handle individual and group reservations via phone, email, and online booking channels, ensuring all bookings are processed accurately in the PMS (Property Management System).
• Respond professionally to guest inquiries, modification requests, and special arrangements, always aiming to provide a seamless guest experience.
• Monitor availability, rates, and reservation details while working closely with Front Office, Sales, and Revenue Management.
• Prepare upcoming arrivals by ensuring guest preferences, requests, and important information are correctly communicated to the operational teams.
• Support the Front Office team when operational needs require additional assistance, including welcoming guests, supporting check-ins and check-outs, and handling guest requests.
• Contribute to a positive guest experience by representing the warm and welcoming spirit of Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ghent.

• You have a background in Hotel Management, Tourism, or a similar field, or relevant hospitality experience.
• Experience in reservations, front office, customer service, or a hotel environment is a strong advantage.
• You are comfortable working with digital systems and learn new tools quickly.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch and English, both written and spoken. Additional languages are an asset.
• You are organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities while keeping a positive mindset.
• You genuinely enjoy helping guests and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
