Engagement: Freelance for 1 year (possible extension)
OverviewWe are partnered with a global pharmaceutical organization seeking an experienced Flexible Benefits Consultant (Compensation & Benefits) to support the design, implementation, and optimisation of flexible benefits programmes. This role will work closely with HR, Rewards, and external vendors to ensure a compliant, scalable, and employee-focused benefits offering. The successful candidate will bring strong expertise in flexible income plans and a track record of delivering benefits solutions in complex, international environments.
Requirements- Proven experience implementing or managing flexible benefits/flex income plans
- Strong understanding of compensation & benefits frameworks
- Experience working within large, global organisations, ideally in highly regulated environments
- Ability to manage stakeholders across HR, Finance, and external providers
- Experience supporting system configuration or benefits platforms
- Comfortable working in a project‑based, fast‑paced environment
- Demonstrated experience in Compensation & Benefits/Rewards roles, ideally within pharma or similar regulated industries
- Strong understanding of benefits compliance and governance frameworks
- Flexible Income/Flexible Benefits design & implementation
- Compensation & Benefits analysis
- Benefits systems/platforms (e.g. Flex systems, HRIS integration)
- Vendor management
- Data analysis and reporting
- Compliance and regulatory awareness (UK/EU benefits compliance)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication
- Ability to translate complex benefits structures into clear guidance
- Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance
- Problem‑solving mindset
- Ability to work independently and drive deliverables
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g. Certified Compensation & Benefits Professional) preferred
