What you’ll achieve

As a Support Engineer, you will become a key member of the team supporting our Diagnostic Imaging IT (DIIT) and Booking Appointment healthcare software solutions
, including Radiology Information Systems (RIS), PACS, and other workflow-critical applications. You will provide first-line support to healthcare institutions, focusing on technical troubleshooting, workflow optimization, and interoperability topics involving HL7, DICOM, REST APIs
, and SQL-based systems
.

In addition to technical support, you will take on business analyst responsibilities by contributing to the development and maintenance of statistical and reporting solutions
, requiring strong SQL expertise. Your work will involve close collaboration with customers, internal technical experts, and project teams—ensuring that every incident resolution or workflow enhancement directly contributes to better care delivery.

You will
  • Maintain excellent communication with IT departments and end users in Dutch (Fluent) and French (Intermediate).
  • Perform root cause analysis and ensure continuity of services through proactive problem management.
  • Manage and track support cases in coordination with development and implementation teams.
  • Collaborate in testing, deployment, and validation of patches and new features.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and process improvement initiatives.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to RIS, PACS, and Booking Appointment products.
  • Provide support on system interfacing (HL7, DICOM, FHIR, REST) and configuration.
  • Support integrations with external systems (HIS, Laboratory Systems, Billing Engines, etc.).
  • Act as a business analyst for statistics and reporting solutions (SQL-based).

  • General ICT (Information and Communication Technology) background (Windows Server, Networking, SQL, basic scripting).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and French and proficient in English
  • Passion for technology, healthcare, and continuous learning.
  • Familiarity with medical standards:
    DICOM, HL7, IHE profiles
    .
  • Understanding of radiology, hospital workflows, and appointment scheduling processes.
  • Experience with PACS, RIS, or clinical IT systems.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL Server and reporting/statistical analysis tools.
