Location: Town of Belgium
We're looking for a Scrum Master for 1 of the 2 Professional Loans Squads, part of the Channels and Customer Experience Enterprises tribe. Your first assignment will be to set up the new squad from scratch. Having a similar experience is a plus. After that, you will play a crucial role in:
- Coach the team in self‑organization and Agile/Scrum practices (ceremonies, artefacts, etc.)
- Drive the squad's Continuous Improvement
- Remove obstacles or help the team remove obstacles, ensuring the team remains focused on its objectives
- Facilitate discussion, decision‑making, and conflict resolution, creating a safe and trustworthy environment
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate communication and information sharing
- Protect the team from unexpected work influx
- With the contributors, establish and follow up on the delivery plan for your features.
- Responsible for managing Risks, dependencies and obstacles during feature delivery
- Organize Scrum‑of‑Scrums to align concerned squads and tribes
- Report on delivery progress during the Delivery Board
- Maintain a high level of alignment with other feature or Opus roles (owner, quality, release, etc.)
English fluency is required.
LanguageKnowledge of at least one national language is a nice to have.
Requirements- Education:
Bachelor/Master or equivalent experience.
- In-depth knowledge of the Agile way of working
- Excellent understanding of Scrum Agile principles and practices. Experience in LESS is a plus.
- At least 6 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in coaching teams in Agile/Scrum practices
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Knowledge of feature planning and end‑to‑end feature delivery
- Team spirit and collaboration
- Ability to inspire and motivate others
- Empathy and excellent communication skills
- Proactive and pragmatic approach to problem‑solving
- Ability to work autonomously and make decisions with minimal supervision
