This is a permanent, full-time, daytime position working Monday to Friday on-site, offering a salary up to £36,000.00, depending on skills and experience. The role is based in Burton upon Trent.
Tasks and responsibilities:Responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient working of a number of teams over the course of a shift, across all activities related to Client Order Fulfilment.
Key tasks:
- Providing general IT service and user support, both face-to-face and remotely
- Logging support requests and incidents, ensuring accurate documentation
- Monitoring and resolving issues received by the IT Service Desk, escalating when required
- Troubleshooting problems using diagnostic tools and escalating when necessary
- Liaising with regional offices and collaborating to resolve user support issues
- Supporting and troubleshooting warehouse hardware, including Zebra wearables, label printers and other devices
- Carrying out any ad hoc IT tasks as required to support site operations
- Strong IT support background in corporate and/or warehouse environments
- Skilled in troubleshooting hardware, including Zebra wearables, label printers and other printers/devices
- Strong Experience of using Microsoft Office package and MS365 admin centres for user and device management.
- Comfortable supporting iOS/Android devices and mobile apps
- Able to perform general user administration tasks
- Knowledge of asset management
- Experience with VOIP systems. (Avaya)
- Intermediate to strong networking knowledge (patching, WiFi setup, physical switch configuration)
- Great communication skills and flexibility due to business needs
