As a Cloud Engineer your tasks can include, but are not limited to:
- work on cloud infrastructure in Microsoft, Google or Linux environments
- the analysis of network, storage products and solutions to decide which choice is optimal depending on the practical requirements of our customers
- building an architecture plan with detailed technical specifications including the necessary technological equipment to configure and realize this plan
- Cloud Platforms: Deep knowledge of at least one major cloud service provider (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and experience with cloud services management, including hybrid cloud configurations.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency in using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet for automating the provisioning and management of cloud and on‑premises resources.
- Networking: Strong understanding of networking principles and technologies (e.g., DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs) especially in the context of connecting cloud and on‑premises environments.
- Security: Knowledge of cloud security principles and technologies, including identity and access management (IAM), firewalls, and encryption, tailored to safeguarding hybrid environments.
- Containers and Orchestration: Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Open Shift) to manage applications across different environments.
- Dev Ops Practices: Familiarity with Dev Ops methodologies and tools for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), and how they apply in hybrid cloud setups.
- Monitoring and Management: Proficiency in using monitoring and management tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) for overseeing applications and infrastructure across diverse environments.
- Programming and Scripting: Ability to write scripts and automate tasks using languages like Python, Bash, or Power Shell.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related fields is preferred.
- Certifications specific to cloud platforms (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator), Certified Kubernetes Administrator or Red Hat Certified Specialist in Open Shift Administration are highly beneficial.

- Proven track record of successful projects that involve complex cloud integration and migration tasks.
