As a Pega Lead System Architect (LSA), you are a cornerstone in driving technical leadership and innovation within the Pega domain. You translate complex business challenges and requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions. Acting as a thought leader, you drive innovation, provide technical leadership across multiple squads, and shape the organization's digital transformation roadmap. You are key for interaction with Business Stakeholders and Enterprise/Solution Architects to assess impact and drive Ideas to scalable solutions as per best practices of the Pega Platform.

You serve as a guardian that these best practices are practiced amongst the implementation.

Your responsibilities :

* You guide multiple teams while challenging business stakeholders to align strategic objectives with the best technical solutions. You are able to define practical plans for major technical changes.

* You establish and maintain industry-standard best practices for code quality, technical debt reduction, (testing) automation capabilities and translate these into the Pega technology roadmap.

* You provide recommendation on technical designs, support the refinement of high-level architectures, and coach the Pega developer community.

* You advocate and implement best practices for reusability and quality standards within the Pega platform.

* You stay up to date with Pega advancements, continuously expand your knowledge, and actively share it with teams.

* You collaborate with enterprise architects to design and implement application architectures for new solutions within the Pega ecosystem and revisit/redesign current solutions.

Your profile :

* You have deep expertise in the Pega platform, including Pega Customer Service, Customer Decision Hub, integrations (REST, Kafka, etc.), Pega Cloud (preferably V3), Pega Infinity 23+ and Constellation design, combined with a strong understanding of how Pega is leveraged for large‑scale digital transformation.

* You have a broad understanding of related technologies and enterprise architecture principles, enabling a holistic, end‑to‑end architectural view and well‑informed design decisions that fit within the wider IT ecosystem.

* You have the ability to set architectural direction and influence all Pega LSAs, providing guidance, recommendations and governance across multiple capabilities while shaping long‑term architectural choices aligned with business strategy.

* You have proven experience in delivering scalable, enterprise‑grade Pega solutions and overseeing major platform evolutions such as version upgrades, application splits, modernization initiatives and platform shifts, while optimizing development processes and code quality.

* You have strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to assess scope, risks and technical feasibility, address complex delivery challenges, define best practices and actively drive high‑quality architectural and solution decisions.

* You have the ability to maximize the value of the Pega platform by driving innovation, cost efficiency, revenue enablement and operational excellence, while shaping the digital transformation roadmap and ensuring long‑term impact on customer‑facing applications and services.

* You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to translate complex technical concepts into business language, engage senior management, lead cross‑cultural teams, drive strategic discussions, and build strong networks within and beyond the Pega ecosystem.

* You have at least 8 years of experience in software development, with 3+ years in a senior or technical leadership role and a proven expertise in the Pega platform, including Pega Lead System Architect certification (LSA) Parts 1 and 2.
