Requires to travel to US – US travel is once / twice during project. Resource will need to travel to customer local Belgium / around office frequently.
Travel to US, client will reimburse Expenses, should have valid Passport at the time of Hiring.
Role OverviewWe are looking for a highly skilled OMP Functional Consultant with strong expertise in OMP Unison Planning to support end-to-end supply chain planning transformation and implementation programs. The consultant will play a critical role in solution design, configuration, integration alignment (preferably SAP), and deployment, working closely with business and IT stakeholders.
This role requires a mix of functional expertise in supply chain planning and hands‑on OMP implementation experience, along with the ability to operate in a global delivery model (onsite + offshore).

1. Business Requirements & Solution Design
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements across:
- Demand Planning
- Supply Planning
- Production Planning
- Inventory Optimization
- Translate requirements into OMP functional design and solution architecture
- Drive solution blueprinting workshops and recommend leading practices
- Align business processes with OMP standard capabilities
- Configure OMP Unison Planning modules including planning models, master data, and workflows
- Set up planning parameters, constraints, and optimization logic
- Support end‑to‑end implementation lifecycle:
- Build & Config
- Testing
- Deployment
- Collaborate with technical teams for system integrations
- Provide functional inputs for integration with SAP (ECC / S4
HANA preferred) - Validate:
- Transactional data interfaces
- Planning outputs back to ERP
- Define test strategy, scenarios, and scripts
- Lead/support:
- System Integration Testing (SIT)
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Ensure solution meets business requirements and performance criteria
- Support cutover planning and execution
- Ensure readiness for go‑live (data, users, processes)
- Provide hyper‑care support post go‑live
- Troubleshoot functional issues and ensure quick resolution
- Act as a functional SME and trusted advisor for client stakeholders
- Facilitate:
- Workshops
- CRP sessions
- Coordinate with offshore teams for delivery alignment
- Identify opportunities for:
- Planning process optimization
- Automation and efficiency improvement
- Recommend enhancements based on business needs and OMP capabilities
OMP Expertise
- Strong hands‑on experience in OMP Unison Planning implementation
- Experience in configuring:
- Solver parameters
- Exposure to full lifecycle OMP implementations / rollouts
- Deep understanding of:
- Demand Planning & Forecasting
- Supply & Production Planning
- S&OP / IBP processes
- Knowledge of:
- Inventory optimization
- Constraint‑based planning
- Experience with SAP integration (preferred):
- SAP ECC / S/4
HANA - Understanding of:
- Data interfaces
- Batch jobs / real‑time integration
- Familiarity with:
- Data models and planning hierarchies
- ETL / data integration concepts
- Ability to collaborate with technical teams effectively
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and client‑facing ability
- Analytical and problem‑solving mindset
- Ability to work in a global, cross‑functional team environment
- 5–10 years of overall experience in supply chain / planning systems
- 2–5 years of relevant OMP experience
- Experience in global implementation or AMS engagements preferred
