Senior Tech Lead​/Project Manager; Maverick Platform

Location: Anderlecht, Belgium

Engagement Status: Freelance until end of 2026 with strong possibility to extend for 2 years

We’re partnered with a global pharmaceutical organisation to support in hiring a Senior Tech Lead / Project Manager to take ownership of a critical internal platform supporting clinical processes. This is a strategic role combining technical leadership, project delivery, and stakeholder engagement within a regulated environment. You’ll lead an established platform with a multidisciplinary team, while also supporting new project intake and shaping future initiatives.

• Lead end-to-end delivery of a complex, custom-built platform
• Drive Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, demos, grooming)
• Manage scope, budget, timelines, and risks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Dev Ops, infrastructure, validation)
• Engage and challenge stakeholders, managing expectations effectively
• Contribute to new project intake and requirements definition

• Strong experience leading custom software development projects
• Background in GxP or regulated environments (pharma preferred)
• Hands‑on Agile / Scrum experience (incl. backlog management, Azure Dev Ops)
• Experience managing budgets and project financials
• Ability to proactively manage risks and escalations
• Technical exposure (ideally .NET / Angular environments)

• Confident influencing senior stakeholders
• Pragmatic, solutions‑focused mindset
• Ability to challenge constructively and push back when needed
• Leadership presence with the ability to guide and inspire teams
• Comfortable operating in complex, fast‑moving environments

• 8–10+ years’ experience in project management or technical leadership roles
• Experience working in large, complex organisations
• Fluent English required (French is a plus)
