Your Responsibilities
  • Own and continuously improve our AWS governance model, including account structure, landing zone concepts, identity integration, IAM, role‑based access control, access policies, security boundaries, and environment separation.
  • Define, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and maintainable AWS infrastructure architectures using Infrastructure as Code, especially AWS Cloud Formation and AWS CDK.
  • Own and improve centralized logging, monitoring, alerting, and observability across platform components.
  • Support and strengthen cloud security practices, including least‑privilege access, secure networking, auditability, and compliance‑oriented controls.
  • Identify and implement AWS cost optimization measures without compromising reliability, security, or maintainability.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure delivery.
  • Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve build, deployment, release, and rollback processes.
  • Support the operation of serverless and cloud‑native workloads, especially AWS Lambda‑based services.
  • Define reusable standards, patterns, and templates for cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, and platform operations.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, permissions, performance, and reliability issues.
  • Contribute to technical decisions around platform reliability, scalability, maintainability, and cloud architecture.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and platform guidelines.
What you’ll own (first 12–24 months)
  • Multi‑region AWS architecture

Help design and implement a multi‑region architecture for the FPO platform on AWS, improving availability, resilience, and scalability across regions.

  • Migration from TFS to Azure Dev Ops

Support the migration of our source code repositories from Team Foundation Server to Azure Dev Ops Repos, ensuring a smooth transition for engineering teams.

  • CI/CD modernization

Migrate and optimize our CI/CD setup from Team City to Azure Dev Ops Pipelines, improving build reliability, deployment automation, traceability, and developer experience.

  • AWS account ownership and component migration

Help us take ownership of a recently acquired software component that is now part of our platform and currently runs on AWS. This includes migrating the component into our AWS account structure, aligning it with our governance, security, monitoring, and deployment standards.

  • Cloud governance foundation

Strengthen our AWS governance model across account management, IAM, RBAC, centralized logging, cost control, security standards, and operational visibility.
