Data Governance Architect Junior – Belgium; Hybrid

Responsibilities

• Conduct governance framework workshops with stakeholders from business and IT.
• Design operating model: roles, processes, cadence, escalation and KPIs.
• Draft governance policies and supervise until stakeholder sign-off.
• Build a practical Data Governance Playbook.
• Drive catalog tool selection: requirements, scoring, demos, TCO and recommendation.
• Oversee implementation of the catalog in line with governance design.

• Experience in designing and deploying data governance programs.
• Hands‑on experience with one or multiple catalog platforms (Purview, Datahub, Oval Edge, Collibra, Alation, Atlan).
• Track record of delivered frameworks, policies and playbooks in an enterprise context.

• In‑depth knowledge in establishing data governance frameworks.
• Proven skills in workshop facilitation and stakeholder management.
• Comfortable delivering frameworks, playbooks, RACIs and policy documents.
• Able to translate governance concepts into concrete operational cadence and KPIs.

• Natural facilitator in workshops with diverse profiles.
• Structured and consistent in implementing governance principles.
• Persistent in obtaining stakeholder sign‑off on policies and decisions.
