As a Functional Analyst at Cream you act as a bridge between business and IT teams within the banking sector, translating business needs into functional specifications for digital platforms.

• Translating business requirements into a structured IT solution while keeping a functional approach
• Using your energy industry knowledge to help translate this functional design into a well‑tailored technical design
• Collaborating with the business analysts for proper translation of the needs
• Preparing functional integration test cases based on the requirements
• Testing the product before delivery to the users
• Analyzing potential corrective actions to be taken
• Following up of technical designers and programmers
• Being able to go into technical details
• Working closely with the business to ensure the final solution fits their needs
• Capturing, consolidating and communicating information from various business stakeholders to the IT teams so that they have the necessary pieces of information to create a new solution

• You have a master’s degree in information technologies, electricity, electronics or equivalent
• You have proven experience in functional analysis
• Very good knowledge of Energy Market issues and modelling tools and methodologies among others:
  • Generation, transportation, metering, billing, Grid management, asset management, contract management, gas flow management, risk management, portfolio management, power optimization, energy trading, real‑time applications
• UML, RUP
• An experience in IT projects based on Microsoft architecture (.NET, Visual Studio, SQL Server, TFS) could be a real asset
• Nice to have: knowledge of a testing framework or automation tool (NUnit, QTP)
• You are able to bridge the gap between technical and business experts
• You can meet project deadlines and provide high‑quality deliverables
• You have strong communication and analytical skills

• You are fluent in French and English; good knowledge of Dutch is also required
• You are committed to travelling abroad occasionally upon the client’s request
