The project

Our client in the banking sector, is seeking an experienced Security Engineer - Application Security Team to strengthen their team.

• Application Security expertise
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the Application Security Team.
  • Review and validate projects, solutions, and processes from an information security perspective.
  • Ensure that security requirements and best practices are integrated throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to project teams and stakeholders regarding application security matters.
• Risk assessment & Security governance
  • Identify, assess, and communicate IT security risks associated with applications, projects, and third‑party integrations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of security controls, processes, and governance frameworks.
  • Analyze emerging regulations, security standards, and compliance requirements, and evaluate their impact on the client’s application security landscape.
• Stakeholder management
  • Communicate security risks, recommendations, and decisions to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams, architects, project managers, risk officers, and external partners.
  • Produce clear, professional documentation, reports, and security assessments.
