Lead a long-term SAP Payroll project for Belgium
, from Business Blueprint to Hypercare. You own the workstream, start to finish.
Camarade is looking for a Senior SAP Payroll Consultant with hands‑on PY-BE configuration experience. This is a long-term freelance engagement, with permanent also considered for the right person. This is a lead role, not a support role. You run the workshops, sign off the design, build it, and take it live.
Based in Belgium. Mostly remote, with occasional visits on‑site.
What you’ll do- Run workshops with HR and payroll stakeholders and get sign‑off
- Configure PY‑BE wage types, payroll schemas and calculation rules
- Make sure the build meets Belgian payroll law
- Manage testing, UAT and parallel payroll runs
- Plan and run cut‑over through to go‑live
- Hands‑on SAP Payroll (PY‑BE) configuration experience
- At least one full SAP Payroll implementation, start to finish
- Good knowledge of Belgian payroll law
- Confidence running workshops with HR and payroll teams
- Comfortable working independently
- Dutch or French, plus good written and spoken English
