Cost visibility, reporting, and insights:
Help build and maintain reliable SaaS cost, usage, and license dashboards that provide transparency across applications, entities, users... Translate consumption, entitlement, and renewal data into actionable insights for the different stakeholders. Identify spend trends, adoption gaps, anomalies, and cost drivers, and turn them into clear recommendations for decision‑making.
Cost optimization and waste reduction:
Detect and reduce unused, underused, duplicate, or oversized SaaS subscriptions through license right‑sizing, reclamation, and tier optimization.
Strategic Sourcing commercial support:
Support Strategic Sourcing with data‑driven input for SaaS renewals, negotiations, vendor reviews, and sourcing strategies. Provide evidence on license utilization, adoption, demand forecasts, benchmarked usage, and optimization potential to strengthen commercial discussions. Help identify contract levers, consolidation opportunities, pricing risks, and renewal scenarios that improve value, reduce waste, and support better sourcing decisions.
Subscription lifecycle:
Ensure SaaS inventory, license, usage, and ownership data remain accurate, complete, and fit for financial and operational decision‑making.
Fin Ops data integration and reporting:
Integrate SaaS cost and usage data into the central Fin Ops platform and reporting layer. Create dashboards and insights that make SaaS consumption understandable and actionable for IT, sourcing, application owners, and leadership. Develop and maintain cost allocation models.
Value Realization and ROI:
Define and monitor value indicators such as utilization, active usage, cost per user, cost per business unit, ROI, and cost‑to‑value evolution. Identify and address low‑value or low‑adoption spend. Support decisions to optimize, consolidate, renegotiate, or retire SaaS solutions where appropriate.

- Solid understanding of Fin Ops principles, IT financial management, cost allocation, forecasting, optimization, chargeback, and cost‑to‑value trade‑offs
