Functional Analyst

Are you a Functional Analyst with 2+ years of experience in business analysis and IT delivery? Permanent opportunity with a leading automotive client in Willebroek, Belgium.

• 2+ years of relevant experience (Master's degree) or 4+ years of relevant experience (Bachelor's degree)
• Strong ability to gather and analyse functional and non-functional requirements with business stakeholders
• Experience translating business needs into clear technical documentation (objectives, scope, assumptions, functional/non-functional specifications)
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate options and recommend solutions
• Clear communication skills to align business and IT stakeholders and influence through reasoning
• Ability to work independently and with precision on complex tasks whilst managing priorities effectively
• Knowledge of Agile delivery, Software Development Lifecycle, and Domain Driven Design
• Solid knowledge in a technical, scientific, or specialised field
• Ability to context-switch effectively across topics, stakeholders, and priorities in a dynamic environment
• Proactive and motivated attitude with strong team-oriented mindset
• Experience working in MSP-compatible environments with appreciation for diversity and cultural differences
• (Desirable) Experience writing structured documentation and supporting testing/quality activities
• (Desirable) ECBA certification
• Language(s):

• Act as a key contributor within the Analyst Centre of Excellence, collaborating in work forces and small groups with a strong team-oriented mindset
• Drive the Analyst community with ownership and enthusiasm, contributing to standards, policies, ideas, and initiatives applicable across domains
• Gather and analyse functional and non-functional requirements together with business stakeholders
• Translate business needs into clear technical documentation for development teams and IT stakeholders
• Propose IT solutions for business ideas and contribute to the product backlog with the business counterpart and Domain Lead
• Define testing requirements with business, Domain Lead, QA, and testing teams; support quality assurance by validating functional logic
• Support project delivery by contributing to and reviewing status reporting; provide regular updates to the Domain Lead and Analyst CoE Team Lead
• Participate in product quality reviews and suggest improvements to ensure high-quality applications and services
• Perform regular "go and see" follow-ups to understand real business operations and identify issues and opportunities
• Support investigations and analysis by leveraging knowledge of relevant data sources and applications
• Act as spokesperson and subject matter expert for your project, serving as liaison between onshore and offshore team members
• Stay informed about IT evolutions and work with the Domain Lead on proposals to keep products current and future-proof
