- Is the Job related to staff position within a Research Infrastructure? No
- Doctoral research in comparative social security law, in particular related to national social security law in its relation to national competition law and EU internal market rules. The candidate is supposed to prepare a decent research proposal as well as to prepare a doctoral thesis on the subject.
- Limited teaching tasks, in particular the supervision of papers and master's theses.
- Masters' degree in law or final year student with outstanding results (at least level of distinction).
- Good knowledge of English and Dutch. Knowledge of additional languages, such as French, German, Italian or Spanish is appreciated.
- Work and/or study experience abroad.
- Teaching experience is considered an asset.
- You have a demonstrable interest in research and in the subject matter concerned, including its societal relevance and its practical and policy dimensions.
- You have a demonstrable interest in the field of social security law.
- You work in an accurate, systematic and persistent manner.
