As a
** Senior Associate, Supply Chain Planning
** supporting our Supply Chain Operations team, you will be trusted to drive demand, supply, and inventory planning activities while ensuring product availability and operational excellence at Bornem.
In this role, a typical day will include:
* Collaborating with cross-functional partners to identify and resolve supply chain challenges, ensuring continuity of supply and achievement of service level targets.
* Managing demand, supply, and inventory planning processes to optimize inventory levels, reduce backorders, and improve customer service performance.
* Analyzing supply chain data, conducting root cause investigations, and developing actionable recommendations to improve operational efficiency and business outcomes.
* Partnering with operations, procurement, engineering, logistics, and regional stakeholders to align planning activities and support business objectives.
* Utilizing ERP and planning systems to monitor performance, generate insights, and drive measurable improvements in inventory, service, and financial metrics.### WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
* ** 5+ years of progressive experience
** in supply chain planning, operations, or a related field.
* Strong expertise in demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, backorder management, and service level optimization.
* Proficiency with ERP and planning systems (SAP, MRP, or equivalent) and advanced Excel skills for analysis, reporting, and decision-making.
* Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities with experience interpreting complex datasets and driving continuous improvement.
* Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, foster accountability, and effectively collaborate across cross-functional teams.
* Strong financial acumen with an understanding of cost drivers, inventory impacts, and budget management.
