Your employer? Power Tools Distribution (PTD) in Hoeselt, part of the Swedish multinational Atlas Copco.
Your mission
You optimize the Industrial Technique Service Supply Chain with a strong focus on availability and end-to-end operational efficiency.
The role
- You understand the Customer needs in the design of the Supply Chain that supports our business models
- You challenge the current set up and develop the Global Supply Chain for the spare parts of the future
- Based on your findings you propose and implement global inventory projects
Some of your responsibilities
- Supply Chain excellence in our local Tool Management Centers
- You have close contacts with our Customer Centers worldwide through our logistic review meetings or visits
- You are our global expert in inventory management systems, supporting the continuous development of our local supply chains
- Develop and implement Inventory management systems (Global Inventory Management) to reach a sustainable availability in balance with a correct inventory level
- Continuously seek for operational efficiency and service improvements in the Supply Chain
In this function you will report to the inventory manager of PTD.
Skills and experience
- Master’s degree in business engineering orapplied economics
- Afirm understanding in Supply Chainand Logistics
- Good MS office skills
- Knowledge and insight in SAP is considered a plus
- You are fluent in Dutch and English, other languages are considered a plus
