Citybox Brussels is looking for a Part-Time Hotel Maintenance Technician (3 days/week)
Citybox Hotels Belgium is looking for a reliable and hands-on technician to join our team at Citybox Brussels.
This is a part-time position (3 days per week), with the possibility to add extra days when needed. You will report directly to Hotel Manager in Citybox Brussels.
During holiday periods, the caretaker must be able to support our Citybox Antwerp hotel as well. That’s why a personal vehicle is required, as the position involves moving between locations and handling technical tasks independently.
Your role
You ensure that the hotel is safe, clean, functional, and well maintained at all times.
Main responsibilities:
Preventive and emergency maintenance in rooms and public areas
Basic technical repairs (fixtures, appliances, installations)
Identifying wear, damage, or safety issues and acting accordingly
Fire safety checks
Waste management and environmental station supervision
Outdoor cleaning and general upkeep
Ordering small technical supplies and room fixtures
Contact person in case of technical emergencies outside office hours
Ad hoc technical support when needed
Your profile
Independent, reliable, proactive and solution-oriented
Practical technical insight (plumbing, building maintenance, or similar is a plus)
Able to work efficiently, even in a dynamic environment
Organized and proactive – you see what needs to be done
Comfortable using a PC and basic Office tools
Good communication skills and a positive attitude with the team and suppliers
