Job Description & How to Apply Below
Location: Town of Belgium

The General Manager (GM) leads a small, flexible team (initially 6–7 employees) and directly manages the Laboratory Manager, the Customer Care & Administration Responsible and the Quality Responsible. The GM acts as the commercial head of the entity, responsible for client acquisition, business development, and maintaining strong customer relationships. Support for business development will be provided occasionally by the Group’s International Sales Coordinator and sales colleagues from other Primoris entities.

Given Primoris' lean structure, the GM is expected to be hands‑on and versatile, actively contributing to daily operations when needed — including understanding laboratory workflows and assisting during high workloads or staff absences.

The GM reports directly to the CEO of Primoris Group and will work closely with Group management and technical experts in Belgium and other entities for operational, financial, and quality support.

Collaborate closely with the central Finance Team in Belgium and local external accountants to ensure proper reporting, compliance, and control.

Support the gradual scaling of operations and investments in line with business performance.

Team Development and Leadership

Recruit, lead, and coach a small but growing team, fostering engagement, accountability, and teamwork.

Promote a positive and professional work environment aligned with Primoris’ values and culture.

Serve as a visible, hands‑on leader with a balance between commercial initiative and operational follow‑up.

Coordinate with the Primoris Group headquarters and other subsidiaries to share best practices and align strategic initiatives.

Contribute to the Group’s regional development in West Africa through market insights and collaborative projects.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a hands‑on, entrepreneurial professional who combines commercial skills with operational insight and leadership ability. He or she thrives in a small, agile organization, can balance strategic thinking with day‑to‑day execution, and enjoys building a business in a growing market environment.

University degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

8–12 years of relevant professional experience, including several years in management or commercial roles.

Proven experience in business development and client relationship management, ideally in B2B or technical services.

Experience in establishing or scaling operations in emerging markets is an advantage.

Hands‑on experience with budgeting and P&L management, supported by central finance functions.

Willingness to take an active, hands‑on role, including learning and supporting laboratory processes.

Fluency in French and good command of English (for communication with Group headquarters) are required.

Entrepreneurial, proactive, and adaptable, with a strong sense of ownership.

Balanced focus on commercial results, quality, and operational excellence.

Team‑oriented, approachable, and capable of motivating others through example.

Pragmatic, reliable, and comfortable working in a small, flexible organization.
