The Production Planner is responsible for developing and managing production schedules that ensure the timely delivery of customer orders while optimizing resources and maintaining operational efficiency. This role requires close coordination with multiple departments, including Production Management, Revenue Management, Quality Assurance, and Procurement.

Create and maintain production plans considering key factors such as:

• • Manufacturing capacity
  • Order backlog and current demand
  • Procurement and material availability
  • Customer requested delivery dates and on-time performance
  • Inventory levels
  • Quarterly cross-site revenue targets
• Define assembly deadlines based on these factors and align with Revenue Management and Quality Control.
• Schedule product variants and special configurations; coordinate adjustments with relevant departments.
• Break down orders by type and production area, ensuring alignment with personnel and technical capacity.
• Incorporate capacity fluctuations and project-related requirements into planning.
• Reprioritize and reschedule assembly in case of bottlenecks or urgent customer requests.

• Develop capacity and delivery plans for systems and align with Production Management and Revenue Management.
• Prepare data for strategic capacity and workforce planning across product lines and propose solutions for conflicts.

• Monitor regular production flow, identify deviations, analyze root causes, and initiate corrective actions.
• Provide alternative configuration proposals in case of scheduling or technical conflicts.

• Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency and delivery performance.
• Develop improvement initiatives and lead projects to enhance operational processes.
• Compile and present data for strategic alignment of production lines with management teams and propose solutions for emerging issues.

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Proven experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities across multiple departments.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office tools, Experience with SAP is a an advantage.
• Fluent in Dutch and English (required)
