Team Leader Day Shift Screen

Every day at Sunconfex you work at one of the biggest players in sun protection textiles in Europe. Each fabric is unique, custom‑made for the customer and leaves for manufacturers of sun protection systems with the highest quality and delivery reliability. As a team leader, you will contribute to our quality, craftsmanship and personal approach. You support the production team on the shop floor and motivate your colleagues to keep the daily production running smoothly.

• You will support and guide the garment workers in their daily work.
• You manage the team, motivate them and ensure a positive working atmosphere.
• You correct and coach where necessary, with an eye for respect and cooperation.
• You will jump in on the shop floor when needed to meet the production schedule.
• You are the first point of contact for your team and ensure that consultation moments run smoothly and constructively.
• You lead by example and encourage employees to keep quality, safety and efficiency high.
• You will coordinate the training of new employees, manage the mentors and jump in as needed in their supervision.
• You will work closely with the production coordinator and actively think about process improvement.

• Submit at least 3 years of experience in a managerial position within a manufacturing environment.
• Submit a secondary school diploma or equivalent through experience.
• Can you work physically active, as the job is mainly standing.

• A strong communicator who communicates clearly, respectfully and motivationally.
• Fluent in Dutch and French.
• Willing to work flexible hours per day. In busy months you may perform extra hours, which are compensated in quieter periods – peculiar to our seasonal industry.
• Living within a radius of no more than 30 min from Ypres.
• Practical-minded, flexible and hands‑on – you enjoy rolling up your own sleeves.
• A true team player with a sense of responsibility.
