We need you for the position of

New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer

The Job

The NPI Engineer supports the industrialization of new products and follows them through ramp‑up and mass production. Working closely with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain teams and external suppliers, this role ensures products are transferred smoothly from development into stable, efficient, and high‑quality production. The NPI engineer reports to the Director of Industrialization.

Your Mission
  • Support the transfer of new products from R&D to Manufacturing (from proto builds until mass production)
  • Participate in design reviews to ensure Design Excellence (Design for Assembly, Design for Repair, …) principles are applied
  • Assist in defining manufacturing processes, assembly flows, and all the required documentation
  • Monitor production performance (quality, yield, ...)
  • Analyse production issues, identify root causes, and support corrective actions
  • Follow up on issues detected in mass production and ensure proper resolution
  • Support continuous improvement actions in serial production
  • Work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and suppliers
  • Participate in supplier selection (audit,...) and follow‑up on technical discussions when needed
Your Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Engineering (Electronic, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or similar)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • Willing to travel every three months for one week outside of Europe
  • Interest in production environments and hands‑on engineering work
  • Understanding of electronic manufacturing processes and quality principles
  • Structured and analytical mindset
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Methodical, detail‑oriented, and proactive
