Marketing Communications Specialist What you will do
As a Marketing Communication Specialist,you turn business priorities intofocusedmarketing communication plans that strengthenimec’svisibility, sharpen our positioning, and supportgotomarketinitiativestohelpbuild strong relationships across the global industry and its ecosystems.

You act as the central pointof contact forthe sectors’marketing communicationstrategyand the central coordination hub withinthe marketing communications team inthe Corporate Marketing and Outreach (CMO) department,representing the different sectors from a marketing perspective. You work closely with portfolio managers, business leads, partnership managers, and colleagues across
CMO.On adaytodaybasis, you collaboratecloselywith a marketingcommunicationscolleague who leads the sectors’ event activities, ensuring alignment between content, messaging, and strategy.
- Develop a clear marketingcommunicationsstrategy that supports each sector’sbusinessobjectivesand priorities, ensuring focus and alignment with theirgotomarketplans.
- Translateeachsectorstrategy into anintegratedcontentand events strategy, working closely with marketing and CMO colleagues to ensure consistent messaging across all touchpoints(website, social media, events, design, etc.).
- In collaboration witheachsector, you create andmaintaincustomer-facing presentations and materials, tailored tothesectors’offerings and its specificgotomarketinitiatives.
- Build strong relationships with the sector
BD and Portfolio teams,and subject-matter experts to ensure marketing activities reflect sector priorities. - Shape the positioning and messaging framework, and brief internal and external content creators to ensurehighqualitycontent acrossdifferentformats. (articles, web copy, whitepapers, presentations, videos, animations,and other marketing collateral,etc.).
- Lead the communication approach foreachsector’s strategic events, aligning strategy,objectives, messaging, and content across all stakeholders.
- Identifyandleverageopportunities through industry partners and ecosystems to amplify marketing communications strategy.
- Monitor performance of all marketing activities and provide insights and recommendations.

Who you areYou combine strategic thinking with ahandsonmindset, andyou’recomfortable navigating a dynamic and complex deep-tech environment. You bring:
- 4+ years of experience in B2B marketing communications, ideally in semiconductors, photonics, or adjacent deep-tech industries.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A structured, proactive work style, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast changing environment.
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across business teams,technical experts, and external partners.
- A curious mindset with the willingness to learn about the sectors’ technology offering and positioning.
