Location: Shopping 1, Rootenstraat 8, 3600 Genk
Reporting to: the Shopping Manager (hierarchical) and the Head of Marketing of Wereldhave Belgium (functional)
How will you impact our organization?You will translate and implement the marketing and communication strategy at the local level — growing the visibility of the center, attracting the right audiences and generating qualified traffic. You’ll ensure consistent execution, creative quality and measurable results across all marketing and communication initiatives.
Your responsibilities as Marketing & Communication Coordinator will include:- Designing and organizing engaging, high-impact events (from concept to logistics, supplier coordination and communication).
- Leading 360° marketing campaigns (on- and offline) with agencies and partners, integrating customer insights and catchment-area data.
- Executing targeted communication plans across media, social channels, press, partners and on‑site activations.
- Overseeing the creation of content (copy, visuals, photo/video) and managing community interactions.
- Managing and optimizing the marketing budget, monitoring timelines and priorities.
- Analyzing performance (KPIs, ROI), preparing reports and recommending improvements.
- Managing relationships with external stakeholders (press, local associations, authorities) in alignment with center management.
- Contributing to cross-center marketing campaigns with the broader WHB marketing team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and/or Communication, complemented by initial experience in marketing, communications or event management.
- Proven project‑management skills: autonomous, organized and results‑driven.
- Excellent command of digital tools and 360° marketing techniques.
- Native‑level Dutch and professional English (written and spoken);
French is a plus. - Creative, proactive and commercially minded, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Analytical thinker who can make data‑based decisions.
- Able to prioritize, manage multiple projects and perform under pressure.
