About the role

As a food auditor at DNV, you will visit a range of food processing facilities, observing different processes and gaining deep insights into the food industry
. You will examine all aspects of our customers’ operations, ensuring transparency and accountability. You will ask the necessary questions to uncover the most accurate and comprehensive information to support food safety compliance

In addition, to be successful in the position you should have:

• Higher education in a food‑related, bioscience or engineering discipline.
• At least 5 years of work experience in the food industry, with at least 2years in a quality function, such as beverages, egg products, ready‑to‑eat meals/salads, fish and dairy/ice cream products OR 2years of relevant work experience in food‑related sectors.
• Minimum one year’s experience as a lead auditor.
• Knowledge of and experience with various food safety schemes, such as BRC, IFS, ISO 22000, FSSC, HACCP and GMP.
• Fluency in Dutch, French and English.
• Ability to travel.
