Engagement Status: Freelance and will end within 18 months

Overview

We are partnered with a large, global pharmaceutical organisation and are supporting the build‑out of their Ethics & Business Integrity function. As a Third‑Party Due Diligence Specialist, you will provide hands‑on operational support across global third‑party due diligence activities, with a strong focus on anti‑bribery and anti‑corruption (ABAC) risk management. This role is ideal for a compliance professional who thrives in fast‑paced, regulated environments and enjoys managing multiple due diligence cases while working closely with procurement, compliance, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage multiple third‑party due diligence cases simultaneously across global markets
  • Collect, review, and validate due diligence questionnaires and supporting documentation
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and audit‑ready records with due diligence and workflow systems
  • Identify, track, and document ABAC‑related red flags and potential risks
  • liaise with internal stakeholders to obtain clarifications, mitigation evidence, and approvals
  • Prepare clear case summaries and supporting documentation for compliance and ethics review
  • Support reporting activities, data quality checks, and audit readiness initiatives
Hard Skills
  • Proven experience in third‑party due diligence, third‑party risk management, or compliance operations
  • Strong understanding of anti‑bribery and anti‑corruption (ABAC) principles
  • Experience reviewing due diligence questionnaires and supporting documentation
  • Familiarity with workflow, case management, or due diligence platforms
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Soft Skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy

    Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to work independently in a global, matrix environment
  • Proactive, reliable, and comfortable working to deadlines
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Compliance, Risk Management, or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree in a related field is advantageous
  • Professional certifications such as CCEP‑I or other compliance, anti‑corruption, or third‑party risk management certifications are highly desirable
