YOURTASKS
- You will be working on a valorization project funded by the Industrial Research Fund of Ghent University focussing on the valorization of anti virulence therapy in commercial shrimp (L. vannamei).
- You will also be involved in the business development activities in the framework of this project.
- You hold a thesis-based doctorate in bioscience engineering or applied biological sciences, aquaculture, or equivalent.
- You have experience with aquaculture, e.g. evidenced by a MSc degree in aquaculture.
- You have experience with working with aquaculture animals, preferably shrimp, e.g. evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- You have the ability to perform in-depth and critical data analysis.
- Knowledge of anti virulence therapy is a plus.
- Record of international mobility is a plus.
- We offer you a contract of definite duration at 70% for a period of 10 months.
- Your contract will start on 1/04/2026 at the earliest.
