Improve qubit coherence by setup optimization
Master internship – Leuven – More than two weeks ago
By exploring different setup configurations, the student will investigate what limits the coherence of imec's qubits. Qubit coherence such as energy relaxation, T1, and dephasing time Tφ depend on internal and external sources of decoherence. In this internship the student will explore different hardware configurations to identify main external sources of decoherence and minimize them. The work will involve performing electrical measurements in a closed cryogenic system.
