Location: Town of Belgium
VITO invites applications for a joint PhD project focusing on nitrous oxide emissions from full-scale wastewater treatment plants. You will conduct dedicated monitoring campaigns, develop measurement techniques, and apply data-driven and mechanistic modelling to improve understanding and mitigation.
The PhD is hosted by VITO Oostende and Ghent University Bio Co group, with half time spent at each institution.
