KU Leuven's SOLVOMET group invites a motivated PhD candidate to work on developing new electrolytes for cerium-titanium redox flow batteries. The research aims to enable scalable, cost-effective energy storage solutions for grid applications, with a strong emphasis on experimental work and modelling under the supervision of Prof. Koen Binnemans.
The position offers a fully funded 4-year PhD with an international research environment and access to state-of-the-art laboratory infrastructure.
