In the Benelux, we operate from two locations:

Your Role

As Account Manager, you are the face of ZEISS for our customers. You are responsible for building, maintaining and further developing long-term customer relationships. In addition, you play a key role in successfully introducing an innovative microscopy portfolio and increasing ZEISS’s market share within your market segment.

In this role, you will focus on both pharma & biotech customers and the academic sector in Belgium and Luxembourg.

The role of Account Manager will involve:
  • You actively build a strong network and maintain existing relationships within the pharma industry and academic market in Belgium and Luxembourg.
  • You drive commercial growth and increase ZEISS’s market share within your market segment.
  • You prepare an annual sales plan and follow it up proactively.
  • You identify new business opportunities and take initiative in prospecting activities.
  • You translate customer needs into suitable solutions within the ZEISS portfolio.
  • You monitor market developments, competitor activities and customer trends, and report on these to your manager.
Your Experience
  • You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree and an affinity with research and technology.
  • You have 3 to 5 years of successful commercial experience in a B2B environment.
  • Experience in the high‑tech sector or an existing network within the pharma industry is a plus.
  • You have a commercial mindset, are results‑oriented and take initiative.
  • You have strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • You speak fluent French and English. Knowledge of Dutch is a strong advantage.
  • Knowledge of microscopy is a plus.
  • You enjoy being on the road and have a category B driving license.
