Solution Sales Manager – Financial System Brussels, Belgium

As the face of the organisation, you are responsible for bringing in new clients for vFinance, our core financial system, across the European market. All our clients operate in the financial sector — lending institutions, investment firms and (re) insurers. You actively seek out these kinds of organisations, make the first contact, get to the bottom of their challenge and translate it into a concrete solution.

You don't work from a script, but from substance. That means you understand the system, speak the language of your clients and hold your own at the table with decision-makers. We don't expect you to be able to do all of that already: we expect you to want to learn it. We provide the product and domain knowledge, you bring the commercial instinct and the willingness to bite.

You won't be doing this alone. You stay in close contact with our technical team, you share what works and what doesn't, and you help make the product better by feeding back what you hear in the market. We're not a purely commercial organisation: substance and lasting client relationships matter more to us than growth for its own sake.

• You are multilingual and you speak fluent English
• You have an understanding of how the financial sector operates
• You have a strong drive to truly understand things
• You are solution-oriented and you think in terms of possibilities
• You are a good listener and aren't afraid to step outside your comfort zone

• You have an existing network within the financial sector
• You have experience selling software or complex B2B products
• You have an affinity for technology or a technical background
• You have experience with long, consultative sales processes involving multiple decision-makers
• You have experience seeing complex, team-based projects through to a successful conclusion
