• Perform risk assessments and underwriting by evaluating and pricing Cyber risks for Mid‑Market businesses, ensuring adherence to company policies, appetite for risk, and authority thresholds
• Oversee portfolio management by tracking and managing the financial outcomes of the Cyber portfolio in the Benelux region, providing direct reports to the Head of Underwriting
• Actively engage in sales support and business development by assisting commercial teams, participating in strategic broker and client meetings to secure pivotal accounts instead of solely concentrating on direct relationship management
• Collaborate closely with Incident Response teams (CERT) and Claims departments, ensuring consistency in threat intelligence and trends related to claims
• Work in partnership with sales teams to enhance cyber awareness and stimulate growth in the pipeline throughout the region

• Possesses 3 to 5 years of specialized experience in Cyber underwriting, ideally acquired within a reputable insurance organization, Managing General Agent (MGA), or a focused brokerage
• Demonstrates a solid history of managing cyber risks specifically in the Benelux region, with a comprehensive understanding of the dynamics affecting SMEs and mid‑market businesses
• Exhibits exceptional analytical and commercial abilities, possessing strong financial insight and a technical grasp of cybersecurity frameworks, complemented by a cooperative and solution‑driven approach to enhance sales initiatives
• Native or bilingual speaker of Flemish/Dutch, which is crucial for engaging with local brokers and conducting thorough policy assessments
• Fluently communicates in English, both written and spoken, for effective corporate and internal reporting
• Proficiency in additional languages such as French, German, Spanish, Italian, or any other European language is viewed as a valuable asset
