Demolition Worker

Koole is a dynamic company consisting of two divisions with different specialism and worldwide projects in the Industrial and Maritime sector, including the complete demolition/dismantling of plants, installations, salvage and dismantling of maritime vessels and objects. Thanks to our pragmatic hands-on mentality, the company has been undergoing substantial growth for years, which is why we are looking for a new colleague.

As a Demolition Worker, you play a crucial role in the execution of our demolition and dismantling projects. You work together with your colleagues on site under the supervision of the site manager and ensure that all activities are carried out safely, efficiently and according to plan. This role requires a practical mindset and a willingness to perform physical work.

• Dismantling industrial objects using hand tools and small machines
• Identifying and signalling asbestos to be removed
• Removing asbestos from surfaces, walls and structures using hand and power tools
• Safely packaging, transporting and disposing of asbestos
• Maintaining tools and equipment
• Working closely with colleagues and the site manager to complete projects on time and to quality standards

• Relevant work experience in the construction or demolition sector
• An asbestos removal certificate is a plus
• A valid VCA Basic certificate
• Knowledge of industrial demolition and asbestos removal
• Good knowledge of the Dutch language
• A valid category B driving licence
• A proactive and flexible attitude
