Overview
Working on modern, complex technologies and helping build a completely new site from day one, that’s exactly what you will be doing as a Service Technician at KNAPP Benelux! In Beringen, you’ll join a team of six colleagues, where you’ll have plenty of room to grow both technically and personally.
As a Service Technician, you’ll take on a varied and challenging role in which you are responsible for maintaining our automated warehouse system. Your daily tasks include:
- Maintaining and repairing our advanced installations (60% mechanical, 40% electrical) on-site, including storage and picking systems and countless kilometers of conveyors.
- Identifying, assessing, and resolving technical issues
, as well as optimizing equipment. - Contributing to a positive team atmosphere and ensuring strong collaboration.

In total, our Benelux team consists of 125 colleagues, and we’ll continue to grow strongly in the coming years. The team you’ll be joining consists of six other colleagues, and together you ensure that the customer’s system keeps running smoothly. - A TSO level education, preferably in mechatronics or electrical engineering.
- Work experience in a similar role, preferably in an international environment.
- Flexibility and a willingness to work in rotating shifts.
- Curiosity and proactiveness, you take the lead when issues arise and work together with others to find solutions.
- A challenging position within a successful international family-owned company, with room for initiative and professional development.
- A salary between EUR 3,000 and EUR 3,600 (based on full-time), with growth potential depending on your experience and performance.
- Annual KNAPP profit-sharing (and we’re performing well as a company!).
- A thirteenth month.
- Meal vouchers (EUR 8 per worked day) and eco vouchers (approx. EUR 250 per year).
- 50% bonus for overtime (paid out in money or time off).
- 50% bonus for working evenings and Saturdays, 100% bonus on Sundays and public holidays.
- An additional fixed allowance for working in rotating shifts.
- 21 days of paid leave and double holiday pay.
- Travel allowance for commuting.
- An extensive onboarding period with the necessary training provided by KNAPP.
